Diagnosis.
As in Villalobos and Alvarez (2003).
Distribution.
Only known from the type locality and surroundings (Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ).
Remarks.
As noted by Villalobos and Alvarez (2003) Tehuana chontalpaensis is morphologically similar to T. lamothei , a similarity that is consistent with their being sister species as shown in the molecular phylogeny (Fig. 3 View Figure 3 ).
