REMARKS.— Stöck et al. (2001) recognized this subspecies only for Pakistan, but mentioned that an occurrence in Afghanistan is possible. Hemmer et al. (1978) mentioned three specimens as “ Bufo viridis ” from Kabul collected by Seufer. However, one of the specimens ( ZFMK 14457 About ZFMK ) is actually a snake ( Spalerosophis diadema ) .
