Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran ( Farahani et al. 2015).

General distribution. Palaearctic, Oriental . Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Russia, Syria, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Siberia ( Shenefelt 1975 as Rogas aestuosus and as R. aestuosus var. desertus Telenga ),

Hosts. Lepidoptera—Noctuidae: Autographa gamma (Linnaeus, 1758) , Heliothis peltigera (Denis & Schiffermüller 1775) ( Shenefelt 1975; Tobias 1986; Yu et al. 212).
