Tylench u s prate n s is de Man View in CoL , 1884, pp. 147-148, pl. xxii, fig. 95.

Dimensions.— ♀ Body-length = 0.680 mm., max. width =0-025 mm., oesophagu s=0.1 3 0m m., tail = 0.033mm., vulva = 0.357 mm.,:α= 27.2, β=5.25, γ=2 0.6 1, V =52.50 p e r cent. Juv. Body-length = 0.650 mm., max. widths= 0.021 mm., oesophagus= 0.155 mm., tail= 0.064 mm., α =30.95, β =4.19, y =10.16.

D espite the short, rounded tail, which is rather longer than in de Man's figure, I think that the two males clearly belong t o this distinct species.
