Description, female. Body length 7.53 mm. Head with green reflection; mesosoma with green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous, lightening posterad. Head wide. Mandible with four distal teeth, wide, strongly angled, with teeth different sized. Median clypeal lobe rounded, very short, truncate at apical margin; median clypeal carina swollen. Frons coriaceous ; with frontal process; antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctate; transverse pronotal carina present, incomplete; posterior margin with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea closed; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments densely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv slightly longer than genitalia body; 2vv as long as 1vv length, abruptly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf strongly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap swollen posteriorly; 1rv not curved, ventral process large, and posterior process long; 2rv not curved.

Distribution. Brazil: Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais.

Remarks. This species differs from A. excisus Evans, 1959 by having the body colour with green reflections; the clypeal carina swollen; the frons with a median impression that does not reach the midpoint of the head; and the mesopleuron with all foveae closed, whereas A. excisus has the body colour dark castaneous; the clypeal carina not swollen; the frons with a median impression that reaches the midpoint of the head; and the mesopleuron with the lower foveae closed and the mesopleural suture opened.
