Head primarily dark reddish-brown, with anterior portion of clypeus, labrum, mandibles, palps and antennae yellow or yellowish-brown; pronotum and scutellum reddish-brown; elytra yellow with large, dark brown macula located anteromesally, spanning mesal portions of both elytra at anterior sixth, and joined posteriorly to pair of broad transverse bands extending to sides and joining broad longitudinal maculae; sutural edges beyond this each with slender, longitudinal brown stripe joining another pair of broad transverse bands joining a pair of posterolateral brown maculae; undersurfaces and legs primarily yellowish-brown. Dorsal vestiture of moderately long, decumbent to suberect fine setae; ventral surfaces and legs clothed with shorter, decumbent setae. Head punctation moderately fine and dense. Pronotum 0.50 times as long as wide; sides strongly curved, somewhat angulate at middle and explanate, and edges of lateral carinae crenulate; anterior angles weakly produced and rounded; posterior angles broadly rounded. Pronotal punctation coarser and denser, somewhat irregular; interspaces finely granulate and shiny. Elytra 1.80 times as long as wide and 4.13 times as long as pronotum, widest at posterior third; sides weakly rounded and explanate; punctation coarse, dense and irregularly subseriate, interspaces more or less smooth and shiny. Femora not inflated and tibiae not curved. Ovipositor as in generic description.
