Euceraphis betulae (Koch, 1855)

Published information. Pol, Mur and Kir: Betula sp. ( Mordvilko, 1935) and Khi: Betula sp. ( Fridolin, 1936). However, review of microscope slides stored in the collection of ZIN RAS reveals that specimens collected in the 1930s by A.K. Mordvilko and V.Yu. Fridolin are E. punctipennis . Since we do not know whether all the samples collected by them are stored in the collections of ZIN RAS, it is impossible to say whether they had E. punctipennis only, or both Euceraphis species.
