One of the most common dragonflies in CNP found around mid-sized forest rivers (4‒5 m width) at mid elevation (1500 masl). Males were observed patrolling and defending small sandbanks (1‒2 m width) at the river’s edge. These dragonflies were observed flying in low light conditions late into the afternoon.
