Distribution in Bulgaria: Tsarevo, Malko Tarnovo [1]; Petrich, Gotse Delchev [2]; Asenovgrad, Dositeevo (Haskovo Region), Pazardzhik, Ognyanovo (Pazardzhik Region), Stara Zagora, Harmanli [3]; Godech, Berkovitsa, Mirkovo (Sofia Region), Botevgrad, Elena [4].

Remarks: According to Macháček (1977), Brueelia subtilis (Nitzsch, 1874) is synonym of Brueelia cyclothorax (Burmeister, 1838) . The Brueelia species collected from Passer spp. ( Balát, 1958; Touleshkov 1961a, 1962, 1964a, 1974) require future studies.
