( Figs 1–13 View FIGURES 1 – 13 , 27–29 View FIGURES 27 – 31 )

Type material. Holotype: male, CHINA: Yunnan, Maguan, 22°49'N, 103°58'E, 1700m, 20 Jul. 2006, collected Zi-zhong Yang ( CLDU). Paratypes 20 males, 5 females, same data as holotype but collected Ben-yong Mao ( CLDU), Ji-shan Xu ( CLDU), Yu-long Wang ( CLDU), Hao-yu Liu, Yu-xia Yang and Qi-qi Wu.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to C. olivacea Willemse, 1965 from Vietnam and C. pumila Willemse, 1924 from Sumatra, Indonesia as demonstrated by similar general appearance, but has following striking differences from C. olivacea : color of head is blue instead of olive green; hind femora with basal half golden yellow instead of red. This new species is well distinguished from C. pumila by longer antennae (at least surpassing posterior margin of pronotum instead of the middle); by color of male head and pronotum (mainly blue instead of yellowish green); by color of hind femur (basal half golden yellow and apical half red instead of entire yellowish). The new species is also closely related to C. rufofemorata Ma et Zheng, 1992 from Yunnan, mainly differential characters are listed as Table 1.

Etymology. The name refers to the hind femur with basal half golden yellow, also abdominal sternites and terminalia.

Description. Body medium-sized. Head shorter than pronotum (fig. 1). Fastigium broad, slightly concave in dorsal view, width in front of eyes about 2.94–3.20 (3.05, on the average, n=5, male) or 3.13–3.57 (3.34, on the average, n=5, female) times larger than length. Face sloping, strongly foveolate; frontal ridge laterally straight with low longitudinal sulcus, subobsolete near the base of labrum; lateral margins nearly parallel, except somewhat extended around median ocellus. Lateral facial keels thick and straight. Antennae filiform, reaching the base of hind femur (male) or posterior margin of pronotum (female), any median segment about 2.83–3.29 (3.05, on the average, n=5, male) or 2.40–2.90 (2.65, on the average, n=5, female) times longer than wide. Eyes oval, longitudinal diameter about 1.41–1.54 (1.47, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.56–1.64 (1.60, on the average, n=5, female) times as long as horizontal diameter, and about 2.23–2.38 (2.33, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.54–2.00 (1.82, on the average, n=5, female) times as long as subocular furrow. Pronotum nearly cylindrical, anterior margin nearly straight, posterior margin with a shallow breach; median carina indistinct, lateral carinae absent; three transverse sulci distinct; prozona 2.23–2.33 (2.26, on the average, n=5) times as long as metazona in both sexes (fig. 1). Prosternal spine long conical, straight, apex subobtuse (female) or weakly acute (male). Mesosternal interspace about 2.00–2.88 (2.52, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.20–1.76 (1.47, on the average, n=5, female) times longer than minimum width; mesosteral lobes nearly quadrate, 1.00–1.11 (1.05, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.00–1.22 (1.11, on the average, n=5, female) times wider than long; metasternal lobes contiguous in both sexes (figs 2–3). Tegmina narrow scale-like, length 2.73–3.00 (2.88, on the average, n=5, male) or 2.38–3.00 (2.70, on the average, n=5, female) times larger than maximum width, reaching at or just surpassing beyond posterior margin of 1st abdominal tergite in both sexes (figs 27–29). Hind femur with upper carina smooth, terminating in an acute angle; apex of lower knee lobes spinous. Hind tibia with apical half nearly cylindrical, with 8–9 external and 10–11 internal spines on dorsal side; external apical spine small. Abdomen with median carina. Tympana opening distinct, oval.

Male 10th abdominal tergite broadly excised in middle, posterior margin with small furculae. Supra anal plate nearly triangular, basal half with broad median longitudinal sulcus; lateral margins weakly roundly protrudent in middle; posterior margin roundly right-anguled (fig. 4). Cerci conical, apex slightly acute, reaching apex of supra anal plate. Subgenital plate long conical, apex obtuse (figs 4–5). Epiphallus with two pairs of lophi, outer lophi hook-like nearly projecting in a 90° angle from bridge, apex subacute, triangular in posterior view; anchorae compressed, apex obtuse; anterior projections with posterior sides backward projecting in lateral view; bridge divided in middle (figs 8–10). Phallic complex with cingular valves divided apically, small, almost shielded by apical penis valves; basal valves of penis expanded (figs 11–13).

Female subgenital plate nearly oblong, with mediate longitudinal concave at apical half, posterior margin roundly projecting in middle (fig. 6). Valves of ovipositor with dentes along margins (fig. 7).

Coloration (figs 27–29). The following notes according to fresh specimens. Surface of head blue (male) or green (female) except postocular bands black and eye brownish red. Antennae with 6 basal segments blue (male) or green (female), others black. Black postocular bands continued on dorsal area of lateral lobes of pronotum, tegmina and 5th (male) or 7th (female) abdominal tergite. Pronotum with disc blue (male) or greenish blue (female), except three transverse sulci black; lateral lobes with midio-areas yellow, ventral areas and inferior margins black. Tegmina black in both sexes. Fore and middle legs yellow except tibiae and tarsi bluish green (male) or green (female). Hind femora with basal half golden yellow (a few greenish yellow in female) and apical half red; knee black; hind tibiae basal one tenth black, others blue; hind tarsi bluish, claws with apical half black. Mesothorax and metathorax respectively with two yellow spots on episterna and epimera. Abdominal tergites with disc blue (male) or yellowish green (female), lateral lobes yellow on ventral areas; abdominal sternites and terminalia yellow. Cerci black in male. Color of dried specimens is similar to that of fresh ones (figs 28–29).

Measurements (mm). Length of body: male 20.3–23.3, female 25.6–27.9; length of pronotum: male 3.8– 4.1, female 4.8–5.0; length of tegmen: male 3.8–4.1, female 4.1–4.8; length of hind femur: male 12.0–12.4, female 13.5–15.2.
