Figs 1–2 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 , 5 View FIGURE 5

Type material. Holotype: ♂, from Dulong River (alt. 1955m; 27°47.468′N, 98°35.132′E), Gongshan County, Yunnan Province, China, 24 November 2011, Z. Li, L. Wang leg.. Paratypes GoogleMaps : 1♂ 1♀, same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition, derived from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Males of Clubiona gongshan n. sp. resemble those of C. applanata Liu et al., 2007 ( Liu et al. 2007, figs 1–5) in having similarly shaped tegulum and S-shaped sperm duct, but can be distinguished by the longer ventral tibial apophysis; blunt retrolateral tibial apophysis ( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 D–E); tegular apophysis cranehead-shaped in ventral view (shorter, club-shaped in C. applanata ; marked as “conductor” in Liu et al. 2007: fig. 4) and by the presence of a complex embolar basal apophysis ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D). Females can be distinguished from those of C. applanata by the epigyne with larger, wider atrium and by the bursae and spermathecae similarly sized ( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 A–B).
