Distribution. Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana and Venezuela.

Materials examined. Vaupés: Mitú, Centro Urbano, 1º15’38’’N – 70º14’3’’W, 11-III-2004, H. Miller (1 ♂, 1♀-MUSENUV).

New records. The geographical distribution of this species is possibly limited to the Amazon Basin. It is here recorded for the first time from Colombia from the Department of Vaupés.
