Description. FEMALE. Body length 8.0 mm; fore wing length 6.3 mm.

Head. Antenna slender, weakly setiform, 56-segmented. Scape 1.7 times as long as its maximum width. First flagellar segment 5.5 times as long as its apical width, 1.15 times as long as second segment. Penultimate segment 4.0 times as long as maximum width, almost as long as apical segment; the latter distinctly pointed apically and with small spine. Head width 1.4 times its median length, 1.2 times maximum width of mesoscutum. Head behind eyes (dorsal view) almost parallel-sided in basal half and roundly narrowed in apical half. Eye 1.3 times as long as temple in dorsal view. Ocelli medium-sized, in triangle with base 1.3 times its sides. POL: OD: OOL=10: 7: 17. Vertex smooth, mainly glabrous, with sparse and long setae marginally. Frons and temple entirely smooth. Eye glabrous, 1.2 times as high as broad. Face medially distinctly and densely striate with rugulosity, smooth on rather wide lateral areas, width of face 0.9 times height of eye, 1.15 times height of face and clypeus combined. Malar space 0.3 times height of eye, 0.75 times as long as basal width of mandible. Malar suture indistinct, but trace of it densely and finely granulate. Hypoclypeal depression about 0.5 times as wide as face. Occipital carina complete dorsally, not fused with hypostomal carina ventrally.

Mesosoma. Length 2.1 times as long as its height. Pronotum with distinctly convex lobe dorsally and with distinct pronotal keel in anterior 0.3. Median lobe of mesoscutum anteriorly distinctly convex and distinctly protruding forwards, without median furrow. Mesoscutum smooth, with two distinct and strongly convergent carinae and with striation between them. Mesoscutum mostly glabrous, with short, dense and semi-erect setae in wide anterolateral areas, and with long, sparse and almost erect setae situated in almost single line along notauli and marginally. Notauli deep and wide anteriorly, shallow and narrow posteriorly, complete, distinctly crenulate. Scutellum smooth. Prescutellar depression deep, rugulose-crenulate, with distinct median carina, 0.3 times as long as scutellum. Mesopleuron smooth, with fine sparse punctation in upper third. Subalar depression rather deep, wide, coarsely rugose-striate. Precoxal sulcus shallow, but deeper posteriorly, short, smooth, running along anterior 0.7 of lower part of mesopleuron. Propodeum with very low and wide lateral tubercles, with basolateral areas mostly smooth with short rugosity along carinae, areas delineated by rather distinct carinae; areola not delineated; rest part of propodeum coarsely rugose-areolate, with large and deep smooth posterolateral areas.

Wings. Fore wing about 3.8 times as long as maximum width. Vein r arising almost from middle of pterostigma. Vein 3-SR forming obtuse angle with r. 3-SR: r: SR1: 2-SR= 27: 12: 70: 15. Second submarginal cell rather short and narrow, 2.9 times as long as maximum width, almost as long as first subdiscal cell. Vein 1-SR+M distinctly sinuate. Vein m-cu distinctly antefurcal, distance between m-cu and 1-M equal to m-cu. First subdiscal cell 4.8 times as long as maximum width, CU1a arising from posterior 0.25 of distal margin of first subdiscal cell. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.2 times as long as vein 1-M. Vein m-cu entirely straight, distinctly antefurcal.

Legs. Hind coxa dorsally coarsely rugose-reticulate, coarsely longitudinally striate dorsolaterally, laterally and ventrally very finely coriaceous to smooth, without dorsal tooth. Hind femur 3.3 times as long as maximum width. Dorsal side of hind tibia with rather long, sparse and semi-erect setae, their length 0.8–1.0 times maximum width of tibia. Hind tarsus 1.2 times as long as hind tibia. Hind basitarsus 0.9 times as long as second-fifth segments combined; second segment of hind tarsus 0.4 times as long as basitarsus, 1.6 times as long as fifth segment (except pretarsus).

Metasoma 1.2 times as long as mesosoma and head combined. First tergite without basal lobes, with small spiracular tubercles on basal third, weakly and almost linearly widened from subbase to apex. Maximum width of first tergite 1.7 times its minimum width; its length 1.4 times maximum subapical width. Second tergite with wide, rather deep, oblique and divergent posteriorly sublateral furrows; median length of second tergite 0.5 times its basal width, 0.9 times length of third tergite. Suture between second and third tergites fine medially and distinct laterally, distinctly curved, with deep sublateral bends. Third tergite with shallow and wide depression in basal third. First and second tergites coarsely longitudinally striate with rugosity. Third tergite distinctly and rather sparsely striate with rugulosity in basomedian 0.5, densely oblique striate-reticulate in basolateral 0.7–0.8. Fourth-seventh tergites very densely and small granulate-reticulate to coriaceous in basal 0.3–0.5, smooth on remaining parts. Ovipositor sheath 1.1 times as long as metasoma, 1.8 times as long as mesosoma and 0.75 times as long as fore wing; sheath in very dense, short and pale setae.

Colour. Head and mesosoma brownish yellow to light reddish brown. Mesosoma reddish brown to dark reddish brown, ventrally in basal half pale yellow. Antenna dark reddish brown to black, scape and pedicel light reddish brown to reddish brown. Palpi yellow. Fore and middle legs brownish yellow, hind leg reddish brown, hind coxa pale in lower half, hind tarsus yellowish brown, hind tibia dark basally. Ovipositor sheath black, with long pale submedian area. Wings faintly yellowish, with distinct darkening along veins 1-SR and 1-M. Pterostigma entirely yellow.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Holotype: Ƥ, China, Yunnan Prov., Sanchahe 12.IV.1981, He Junhua, No 811707 ( ZJUH).

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. From Latin “flavus” for “yellow” and “stigma” for “pterostigma” because of the yellow pterostigma of the new species.

Diagnosis. This new species is very similar to D. malayensis (Fullaway) , but differs in having the pterostigma entirely yellow, temple long, setae on dorsal margin of hind tibia short, hind tarsus distinctly longer than hind tibia, second segment of hind tarsus much longer than fifth segment, and first metasomal tergite long (see also a key).
