Material examined. Ra’s al-Khaimah, 15.12.2016, Malaise trap, 2 males, leg. H. Roberts ; Jebel Hafeet National Park , 21.01.2018, Malaise trap, 13 males, leg. A. Saji & A. van Harten ; Houbara Protected Area , Malaise trap, 28.02.2017, 1 male , 15.03.2017, 1 male, leg. A. Saji & A. van Harten.

Diagnosis. Males of this species have a long, triangular aedeagus with black apico-lateral hooks and a stout greatly curved gonostylus, the apical third of which is slender ( Figs. 1A, B View FIG ). Females unknown.

Distribution. Algeria, UAE, December–March, May. This is the first record from the UAE.
