Material examined. Holotype male. COLOMBIA: Risaralda, SFF Otún Quimbaya, El Molinillo , 4º43’N- 75º35’W, 2200 m., Malaise, 3/21/03, G. Loez, Leg. M. 3674 ( IAHC) GoogleMaps . Paratype. 1 male, same data as holotype except 5/8/03, M.3678 ( MLBM) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The name is descriptive for the ligulate or finger-like lobe on the distal half of the subgenital plate.
