Gerris (Gerris) brasili Poisson, 1941

Material examined. Laâyoune, 31.0 5.17, 1 m, 1 f.

Distribution. Ibero-Maghrebian Endemism ( Aukema & Rieger 1995). In Morocco, this species is more common in the northwest (L’Mohdi 2016). In the study area, it has been recorded in the Zeghzel River ( Chavanon et al. 2004). During the sampling period, G. brasili was found in the vicinity of Laâyoune ( Fig. 3 ).
