Names.
Myanmar: hnaw, yangmaw. English: yellow teak.
Range.
Africa and Asia. In Myanmar, found in Bago, Mandalay, and Yangon.
Uses.
Flower: Buds used to treat headache, also to eliminate maggots from sores.
Note.
In Indo-China a decoction of the root is astringent, and is used to treat diarrhea and dysentery ( Perry 1980).
