Material.

Described from a single male from Buénos-Ayres [Buenos Aires].

Type locality.

Buénos-Ayres [Buenos Aires].

MACN.

In the Berg collection there is a male specimen with a label “Cumtypo/comparat.” and another label representing the flag of Argentina without any indication. It could be the holotype specimen; it is in moderate to good conditions with the right antenna missing (Fig. 9).

Remarks.

The specimen is associated with a label "trifasciata Burm[eister] R[epublic] A[rgentina]" (handwritten by Burmeister).
