A. Schulz, MHNG GoogleMaps . 1 male ( PBI_OON 00015671 ), same data as holotype, MHNG GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition and refers to the village near the type locality.

Diagnosis. The male of I. tekek resembles that of I. tioman , but the frontal apophyses on the chelicerae are branched and the anvil-shaped outgrowth of the palpal bulb is lacking ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C–F). The female genital area is characterized by the short, dark tube, which is strongly winding in dorsal view ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C–E).

Description. Male. Total length 1.30 mm. Carapace: with pale egg-shaped patches behind eyes. Clypeus: low, ALE separated from edge of carapace by less than their radius. Eyes: PLE circular. Mouthparts: Chelicerae slightly divergent, with sclerotized, spine-like apophyses (sla) on the anterior face of the paturon, about as long as paturon, originating near its base, branched ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C–D) and with three trichobothria-like setae (arrows). Abdomen: Dorsal scutum covering 1/2 to 3/4 of abdomen, more than 1/2 to most of abdomen width, not fused to epigastric scutum. Legs: spine formula: femora: I p0-1-1; II p0-0-1; r0-0-1; tibiae: I, II p2-1-1; r2-1-1; metatarsi: I, II p1-1-0; r1-1-0. Genitalia: Trochanter with large ventral projection (vp), bulb with ventral protuberance (vpr), distal part with collar-like membrane retrolaterally (clm) and membranous apophysis apically (mo) ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 E–F). Embolus not discernible.

Female. Total length 1.87 mm. As in male except as noted. Carapace without any pattern, broadly oval in dorsal view, pars cephalica slightly elevated in lateral view, fovea present. Clypeus margin unmodified. Setae abundant. Endites unmodified. Femur of palp with two ventral spines. Abdomen: Dorsal scutum covering about 1/2 of abdomen, between 1/4 and 1/2 abdomen width. Epigastric scutum slightly protruding, small lateral sclerites present. Postepigastric scutum widely hexagonal, only around epigastric furrow, not fused to epigastric scutum, with short posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Dense patch of setae anterior to spinnerets present. Legs: spine formula: femora: I p0-1-2; r0-0-1; tibiae: I p2-1-1; r2-1-1; metatarsi: I p1-1-0; r1-1-0. Genitalia: The posterior margin of the epigastric scutum is lined with numerous needle-like setae. The anterior margin of the postepigastric scutum is sclerotized, in it's middle starts a winding tube (wt) (strongly winding in dorsal view) running posteriorly, ending in goblet-like atrium (gla). Lateral apodemes (a) short ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C–E).

Distribution. Tioman Island.
