Krisna quadrimaculosus View in CoL sp. nov.

Figs. 3, 6, 9 View FIGURES 1–9. 1, 4, 7 , 66–71.

Description. Body length (including tegmina): ♂, 10.5–11.5 mm.

General color green, fading to yellow in ethanol-preserved specimens ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–9. 1, 4, 7 ). Crown with four black spots on anterior margin, two close to eye, other two near center. Eyes red, ocelli transparent. With dark spot close to the bucca of the antennal pits ( Figs. 6, 9 View FIGURES 1–9. 1, 4, 7 ).

Crown slightly concave anteriorly with margin upturned. Crown median length 0.5 times interocular width. Clypeal suture prominent; frontoclypeus elongate, with two small black submedial spots; anteclypeus gradually widened from base to apex. Lorum broad, antennal ledges prominent.

Male genitalia. Male pygofer side widened at middle, with many stout and fine setae on surface; ventral process short, constricted near middle then curved dorsad and widened before narrowing to sharp apex (Fig. 66). Eighth sternite with many fine setae, concave medially (Fig. 67). Subgenital plate slender, widest near midlength, outer margin with dense long, fine setae (Fig. 68). Style slender, distal part of apophysis nearly straight, apex slightly hooked (Fig. 69). Connective with median anterior lobe very short and acute (Fig. 69). Aedeagus with broad dorsal tumosity in lateral view, apex evenly rounded and relatively broad; in ventral view shaft nearly parellel-sided, only slightly widened beyond midlength, apex weakly bilobed (Figs. 70–71).

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA: Guizhou Province, Libo County, Maolan National Natural Reserve , 18. VII. 2011, collected by Long Jian-kun ; Paratype: 1 ♂, CHINA: Guizhou Province, Libo County, Maolan National Natural Reserve , 16. VII. 2011, collected by Long Jian-kun ; 1 ♂, CHINA: Guizhou Province, Libo County, Maolan National Natural Reserve , 16. VII. 2011, collected by Song Qiang-zhang ; 1 ♂, CHINA: Guizhou Province, Libo County, Maolan National Natural Reserve , 2. X. 2011, collected by Song Qiang-zhang ; 3 ♂♂, CHINA: Guizhou Province, Libo County, Maolan National Natural Reserve , 17–20. VII. 2011, collected by Zheng Wei-bin ; 1 ♂, CHINA: Guizhou Province, Libo County, Maolan National Natural Reserve , 24. VIII. 2015, collected by Zhan Hong-ping .

Remarks. This new species is very similar to K. strigicollis ( Spinola, 1852) but differs in having four black spots (instead of two) on the anterior margin of the crown, the male pygofer process curved posterad (instead of dorsad) apically, and the aedeagus with the shaft slightly expanded (instead of tapered) apically in ventral view.

Etymology. The new species name is derived from the Latin words “ quadri- ” and “ maculosus ”, referring to the four black spots on the anterior margin of the crown. Distribution. China (Guizhou Provinces).
