on Malvaviscus arboreus Cav. Panama, Chiriqui Province, Caizan, 8°44.406N, 82°49.348'W, 25 Nov. 2004, leg. J.R. Hernandez 2004-109, II (BPI 864198).

K. malvicola was reported from the Americas and Asia on species in the Malvaceae (Farr et al. 2004). This is the first report of K. malvicola from Panama.
