One male with SVL = 66.1 mm was observed. Terrestrial frog of large size; green dorsum; large and conspicuous tympanum; dorsolateral fold in both flanks between the upper eyelid and the groin; webbing on all toes. It was found in Station 5, in a stream of a tropical wet forest relict at 250 m elevation. The species is distributed from the lowlands of Mexico to Ecuador. It can be found in the Colombian lowlands of the pacific coast, Cordillera Occidental and Cordillera Central piedmonts, and the Magdalena river valley between 0 and 1700 m elevation (Acosta-Galvis 1999).
