Meneghelia carlotae Piza, 1980

The genus Meneghelia is based on a male and a female from northern Brazil, and is not compared to any other genus. The single species is quite similar to Apocerycta bariana from French Guiana, and possibly congeneric. But the type species of Apocerycta from Mexico, A. incommoda , looks very different (especially the ovipositor).
