Mitrephorus ochraceiventris Cabanis

Mitrephorus ochraceiventris Cabanis, 1873c: 320 .

Now: Myiophobus ochraceiventris (Cabanis, 1873) View in CoL . See Cory & Hellmayr (1927: 248).

Type series: Cabanis (1873c: 320) based this species on an unspecified number of specimens, but the Accession Catalogue of the ZMB indicates that he had only a single specimen at his disposal, which is thus the holotype of this species. The specimen is deposited in the ZMB.

Holotype: ZMB 21348 (B-10012), unsexed, collected by Jelski on "1871. 7 Czerwca" (field-label) [= 7 June 1871] at "Maraynioc" (field-label) [= Maraynioc, Peru].

Type locality: "Maraynioc" (Jelski's field-label and Cabanis 1873c: 320), i.e. Maraynioc, Peru [11.37°S, 75.40°W].

Remarks: Taczanowski (1875: 538) listed a male and a female of this species from "Maraynioc", which were deposited in the MIZ and which he considered types of Mitrephorus ochraceiventris Cabanis ( Taczanowski 1889: 18, see also Sztolcman & Domaniewski 1927: 148). These specimens, which were not found in the MIZ in 2008, had no type status (see Mlíkovský 2009b for details).
