Bizarrifrons magus (Nitzsch [in Giebel], 1866); Hopkins & Clay (1952: 51); Price et al. (2003: 152). Type host: Cassicus cristatus [= Psarocolius decumanus (Pallas, 1769) View in CoL ] – Crested oropendola. Type locality: not provided.

Distribution: Brazil ( Eichler, 1938: 227), Peru (present study), Panama ( Paine, 1917: 231).
