Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition, derived from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Both sexes resemble similar congener Nops nitidus by having the abdominal pattern with a homogeneous color ( Fig. 66A View FIGURE 66 ); but can be distinguished by having the posterior unpaired claws elongated and dorsally reflexed similar to figure 5B.

Description. Male (holotype): Carapace and legs light orange ( Fig. 51A View FIGURE 51 ); chelicerae, labium, endites and sternum yellowish orange; coxae lighter. Abdomen grayish green, dorsally with a homogeneous color ( Fig. 51A View FIGURE 51 ), lighter ventrally. Anal tubercle darker and spinnerets light gray. Total length 8.8. Carapace 5.1 long, 3.0 wide. Sternum 4.3 long, 3.9 wide. Leg measurements: I: 4.0; II: 3.75; III: 3.55; IV: 4.05. Posterior unpaired claws elongated and dorsally reflexed. PLS longer than PMS. Palp with embolus longer than palpal tibia, prolaterally curved ( Figs 49J View FIGURE 49 ; 51B‒D); embolar tip narrow, with a long extension and a very projected half, almost covering the tip ( Fig. 49K View FIGURE 49 ).

Female (paratype): Carapace, chelicerae, labium, coxae, legs, endites and sternum as in male. Abdomen as in male ( Fig. 51D View FIGURE 51 ), but lighter. Anal tubercle and spinnerets light gray. Total length 9.1. Carapace 5.5 long, 3.3 wide. Sternum 4.5 long, 4.1 wide. Leg measurements: I: 4.15; II: 4.05; III: 3.6; IV: 4.25. Posterior unpaired claws and PLS as in male. External genital area with weakly sclerotized anterior plate and lep, unremarkable ess ( Fig. 52F View FIGURE 52 ). Internal genitalia with wide invagination on receptaculum and weakly sclerotized distal margin of lobes, uterus externus with narrow base ( Figs 49G‒I View FIGURE 49 ; 51G).

Natural history. Most of specimens were captured with pitfall traps.

Distribution. Known from the Brazilian States of Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Paraíba, Ceará, and Bahia ( Fig. 51B View FIGURE 51 ).
