Re-description

Female. TL 4.3–4.8 mm.

Colour

Head. Black; antenna and mandible yellowish to light castaneous; maxillary and labial palpi yellow; lateral clypeal lobe dark castaneous.

Mesosoma

Black; legs dark castaneous except trochanter, tibia, and tarsi yellowish to light castaneous; wing hyaline, prestigma and stigma castaneous, other veins yellowish.

Metasoma

Dark castaneous.

Morphology

Head ( Figure 4B, F View Figure 4 ). Median lobe of clypeus with right angle. Frons and vertex coriaceous with large, shallow punctures. Compound eye with sparse, short hairs. Anterior ocellus not surpassing imaginary to top eye line; frontal angle of ocellar triangle slightly acute angle; posterior ocelli distant from vertex crest by 0.5 times as wide as DAO. Vertex crest straight in dorsal view. Ventral surface and gena coriaceous with punctures as frons and vertex; median suture present.

Mesosoma ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 C–E, G)

Pronotum coriaceous, weakly papillate; lateral margin without granules. Mesoscutum coriaceous with distinct parapsidal furrow. Scutellum coriaceous; scutellar pit elliptical, each pit distant from another by 2.2 times as wide as maximum diameter. Propodeal disc with three discal carinae; median carina reaching transverse carina; submedian discal carinae reaching basal two-thirds of LPD; submedian area rugose, sublateral area finely strigate. Propodeal declivity completely imbricate without median carina. Mesopleural dentate process not developed.

Metasoma

Petiolate. Sternites II, VI weakly coriaceous, not papillate.

Distribution

Cambodia (new record), Taiwan ( Terayama, 1997).

Remarks

Odontepyris formosicola Terayama was firstly recorded by Terayama (1997) from Taiwan with two female types. As results, O. formosicola Terayama is newly recorded in Cambodia.
