Type locality and specimens. Flinders Passage, 10º30'S 132º18'E. Holotype, sex unknown, 2.5 mm, possibly BMNH. GoogleMaps

Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Stebbing, 1888.

Diagnosis (sex unknown): Mandibular palp article 2 thick. Maxilliped outer plate tuberculate. Gnathopod 1 basis anterior margin with long setae; carpus with setose distal margin; propodus curved; dactylus short.

Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.

Habitat. Coral mud; 11–15 m (reported as 7–8 fthm).

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Pacific Ocean: Flinders Passage ( Stebbing 1888; Lowry & Stoddart 2003), Australia ( Chilton 1922; Chilton 1923).
