Material examined: LIBERIA: Bong county, trip Menla—Weadea bridge, 6°55′N 10°20′W, 11.v.1989, 6:03–6:40 pm, vehicle-mounted net, leg. Rolf Garms (1 ♂) GoogleMaps ; Bong mine, Dam 1b/2b, 165 m, 20.v.1989, hand-collected, leg. Rolf Garms (2 ♀♀) .

Distribution: Angola, Benin, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria.

Remark: Easily separable from the two other known species of the genus, although Villiers (1948) indicated the possibility of P. bequaerti Schouteden, 1932 being only a variant of P. nodulipes .
