General distribution. Recorded from Bolivia, Brazil, British Guiana, Colombia, French Guiana, Peru, Surinam and Venezuela (Brailovsky 1991, Packauskas 2010, CoreoideaSF Team 2019, ITIS 2019).

Material examined. New country records: ECUADOR: 1 female, Sucumbios, Sacha Lodge , 260 m, 0.5°S – 76.5°W, 4–14-III-1994, P. Hibbs ( LACM) ; 1 male, Rio Zamora ( PUCE) . PANAMA: 2 females, Panama Pr., P. N. Darien, Pirre, Est. Rancho Frio, 80 m, 20-III–5-IV-2000, Cambra, Santos , Bermudez ( MIUP; 1 female, Colon Pr., Rio Guanche , 5 km S. Portobello, 100 ft, 9°30.202’N – 79°39.903’W, 18-VII-1999, J. C. Schaffner ( TAMU).
