Plateros cristifer Kazantsev, 2011: 185 . Calleros pectinicornis Pic, 1932: 6.

Type material. Holotype, male, BOLIVIA “ Bolivie ” without other data ( MNHN).

Redescription: Body with ventral surface dark brown. Head dark brown, eyes small, interocular distance 1.2x longer than eye diameter. Antennae strongly serrate and pubescent, antennomere 5 about 1.4x longer than 3 and 1.1x longer than antennomere 4. Mandibles stout, labial palpi short, maxillary palpi elongate, palpomere 2 as long as 4, 2x longer than 3. Pronotum subpentagonal, 1.25x wider than long medially, rounded apically, longitudinal median line channeled in basal half, posterior angles obliquely projected backwards, dark brown, only lateral sides yellow. Scutellum dark brown, oblong, straight distally. Elytra dark brown with humeral region light brown, presenting 9 costae, reticulate cells regular, subrectangular. Prosternum strongly transverse, triangular, mesosternum trapezoidal. Legs compressed, dark brown, femora 4.2x longer than trochanters and 1.1x longer than tibia. Abdominal sternum 8 with shallow emargination distally, sternum 9 rounded distally, triangular proximally. Phallus basally expanded, immediately constricted after base and tapering gradually to half of phallus, thickening at apical ¼, with constriction before apex in ventral view. Phallobase elongate, rounded proximally, with deep emargination distally ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 1 – 12 ). Body length: 6 mm, humeral width: 1.6 mm. Distribution: Bolivia.
