Bulimus (Eurytus) calliostoma Dohrn 1882: 103 , pl. 3 figs 1–2. Type locality: “provincia Antioquia, Novae Granadae.” Type material: not located. Plekocheilus calliostoma (Dohrn) ; Richardson 1995: 306 (references).

Material. Antioquia, Piedras Blancas, Corregimiento Santa Elena, Medellín, 2200 m, J.C. Gutiérrez leg.: UAM; Valle del Cauca, Parque Nacional Farallones de Cali, Campamento Corea, 2500–2600 m: UVZ 82292 (under leaves of Cyclanthaceae, Vasquez leg./1982), UVZ 106 (leg./1980), UVZ 82021 (M. Giraldo & C. Restrepo leg./ 1982), UVZ 82283 (on leaf of Araceae, C. Restrepo leg./1982), UVZ 82285 (C. Restrepo leg./1982), CMC C 13263 (F.J. Borrero leg./2007).

Altitudinal range. 2200–2600 m.

Remarks. This species seems to be restricted to the Cordillera Occidental. A record from Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca, Cordillera Oriental, ANSP 174435, Hno. Apolinar María leg., as P. (A) latilabris ) is only tentatively referred to this species. It has been reported to occur on leaves of low, smooth-leaf plants ( Cyclanthaceae , Araceae ).
