Notes.

Microphyllidious trees with the inflorescence usually composed of axillary efoliate pseudoracemes, sometimes a partly or wholly terminal panicle (but not surpassing the foliage), the fruit with a narrowly winged margin and seeds oblique. A single widespread species found in deciduous seasonally dry forests, gallery forest, and evergreen forests in Mexico, Central and South America (Fig. 6 View Figure 6 ).
