zendalus Humbert & Saussure, 1869a: 150 View in CoL [ Polydesmus (Fontaria) View in CoL ].

Mexico orientalis. Unspecified number of ♂ and ♀.

Saussure & Humbert (1872) gave a more detailed redescription, and the locality “Cordillère orientale.” The MHNG collection has one ♂ and one ♀ in alcohol under the name Fontaria zendala , and labelled as types. The data label in the jar reads “Moyoapan, Mexique”. The ♂ was designated as lectotype by Hoffman (1970: 157).
