this species was previously known only from several localities in Suriname. In Guyana it was collected in a lowland rainforest dominated by Chlorocardium (Lauraceae) trees ( Mabura Hill , 5° 09.313'N, 58° 41.982'W, elev. 64 m .). GoogleMaps
