A junior subjective synonym of Tenthredo xanthoptera Cameron, 1876 . Synonymy by Malaise (1945).
TYPES. Allantus sextuberculatus Mocsáry, 1909: 32 . Syntype (s) 3, “ India orientalis: Sikkim”. 1 3 syntype examined, obviously subsequently labeled “Sikkim”.
DISCUSSION. Currently, the species cannot be placed in one of the known subgenera.
