Diagnosis. The male of Thymoites puer ( Mello-Leitão, 1941) resembles that of T. pinheiral new species in the form of the carapace, high and unmodified in ocular area ( Figs. 45, 46 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ) and the shape of palp ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ), but differs in conductor developed, trajectory of the sperm duct in the tegulum, the shape of embolus ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ) and without setae between AME.

Description. Male (from Peru Velho, MCN 32482). Total length 1.79. Carapace length 0.75, width 0.65. Clypeus height 0.31. Sternum length 0.40, width 0.46. Abdomen length 1.08, width 0.86, height 0.84. Leg formula I/IV/II/III; segment length (I/II/III/IV): femora 0.94/0.79/0.62/0.86; patellae + tibiae 0.94/0.79/0.58/0.80; metatarsi + tarsi 1.08/0.85/0.66/0.81; total 2.96/2.43/1.96/2.47. Carapace ( Figs. 45, 46 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ) yellow with median dark spots. Eyes with dark borders. AME smaller than the other eyes. Sternum, endites, chelicerae, and labium yellow. Legs pale yellow, except femur IV with posterior dark spots. Abdomen longer than wide, pale yellow with dark dots: two anterior and one posterior ( Fig. 45 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ). Spinnerets pale yellow. Palp with conductor developed and the embolus curved ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 44 – 48 ).

Female. Described by Mello-Leitão (1941) and illustrated by Levi (1964: figs. 25, 26).

Remarks. Males and females were collected together.
