Synonym of Triatoma eratyrusiformis Del Ponte
Etymology. This species is dedicated with all respect to Professor Dr. Flavio L. Nino, a constant investigator of Chagas-Mazza disease and author of the first Monograph produced on this disease ( Carcavallo, Martínez, Prosen & Cichero 1964: 155).
Original citation. “Esta especie esta dedicada com todo respeto al profesor Dr. Flavio L. Niño, investigador constante de la enfermidad de Chagas-Mazza y autor de la primeira Monografia que se realizo sobre dicha afección” ( Carcavallo, Martínez, Prosen & Cichero 1964: 155).
