Antenna long, apical antennomere acuminate; occipital carina narrowly interrupted medio-dorsally; vein 1-M of fore wing slightly curved basally; vein cu-a oblique; vein 1-M of hind wing 1.8–2.1 × as long as vein M+CU; propodeum with basal median and some curved rugae in posterior area; first metasomal tergite with complete median carina, and 1.1–1.2 × as long as its apical width; second tergite with median carina in 0.8 basal tergite; surface of first-third tergites with rather dense striae. Description. Holotype , female, body length 4.6 mm , fore wing length 4.4 mm ; antenna 8.2 mm ; ovipositor sheath 0.6 mm ( Fig. 23 ). Head. Antenna with 53 segments; middle antennomere s 3.0 × longer than wide (6:2); third antennomeres 1.1 × fourth (9:8); preapical antennomere 1.25 × apical antennomere (5:4); maxillary palp 1.5 × as long as height of head (43:29); width of face 0.9 × length of face and clypeus combined (15:16) ( Fig. 25 ); malar space 1.25 × as long as mandible basal width (5:4); mandible basal width 0.5 × as long as hypoclypeal depression (4:8); malar suture present ( Fig. 25 ); distance between tentorial pits 4.0 × distance between pits and eyes (8:2); in dorsal view, height of eye 5.0 × as long as temple (15:3); in lateral view, width of eye 4.0 × as long as temple (14:3.5) ( Fig. 26 ); ocelli rather large, POL:OD:OOL=2:4:3; distance between front and hind ocelli 0.7 × as long as OOL (2:3) ( Fig. 24 ). Face rugose; frons flat, with transverse striae near antennal sockets; vertex with fine transverse striae; temple coriaceous. Mesosoma. Length of mesosoma 1.5 × as long as high (65:43); pronotal side granulate anteriorly, smooth medio-posteriorly; mesoscutum coriaceous; notauli deep, narrow; posterior depression of mesoscutum rather deep ( Fig. 27 ); prescutellar sulcus with one median carina, 0.7 × as long as scutellum (6:9); scutellum granulo-punctate; precoxal sulcus wide, coarsely striate; mesopleuron smooth posteriorly, finely transverse striate dorsally; metapleuron rugose; basal half of propodeum with basal median carina, granulate basally, posterior area with curved carinae. Fore wing: length 2.9 × its maximum width (130:45); pterostigma 3.45 × as long as wide (38:11); vein r arising before middle of pterostigma; r:2-SR:3-SR:SR1=7:12:22:41; vein 1-M slightly curved basally; vein cu-a oblique ( Fig. 32 ); 1-CU1:cu-a:2-CU1:3-CU1=3:5:20:5; basal length of second submarginal 3.4 × as long as its apical width (31:9). Hind wing: length 4.8 × its maximum width (101:21); vein 1-M 2.0 × as long as vein M+CU (32:16) ( Fig. 32 ); vein M+CU:1-M: 1r-m=16:32:11. Legs. Length of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 5.55, 7.5 and 9.0 × their maximum width, respectively; inner hind tibial spur 0.3 × as long as basitarsus (8:27); hind basitarsus 0.6 × as long as second-fifth tarsus (27:47); hind fourth tarsus 0.7 × fifth tarsus (8:11); hind tarsal claw with large lobe ( Fig. 29 ). Metasoma. First tergite 1.1 × as long as apical width (34:30) ( Fig. 28 ); median length of second tergite 1.9 × than third (29:15); ovipositor sheath 0.85 × as long as hind basitarsus (23:27) and 0.13 × fore wing. First metasomal tergite with complete median carina, longitudinally striate ( Fig. 28 ); second tergite with median carina in 0.8 basal tergite, striate as first tergite; third-fourth tergites rather coarsely striate ( Fig. 28 ). Colour . Yellow; scape yellow; antenna brownish yellow; palpi pale yellow; stemmaticum dark brown to black; pronotum brown dorsally; mesoscutum yellow; mesopleuron and metapleuron pale yellow; propodeum dark brown. Fore and middle legs pale yellow; hind leg yellow, except hind coxa, trochanter, trochantellus and hind femur basally pale yellow; hind tarsus brownish yellow. Fore wing vein brownish yellow; pterostigma yellow basally and apically, brownish medially; wing membrance hyaline. Firts metasomal tergite brown but yellow medio-apically; third-fifth tergites yellow medially, brown laterally but yellow latero-ventrally; ovipositor sheath yellow, hypopygium whitish yellow to ivory. Etymology. The new species is named after the country where the holotype was discovered ( Vietnam ). Host : Unknown. Variation. Paratypes : females, antenna with 46–50 segments, males 38–42 segments; first tergite 1.1–1.2 (females) and 1.0–1.1 (males) × as long as apical width; body length 4.0– 5.4 mm (females), 3.0–4.2 (males); fore wing length 4.0–4.7 (females), 3.0– 3.8 mm (males); vein 1-M of hind wing (both sexes) 1.8–2.1 × as long as vein M+CU.
