Eburodacrys ayri
was described from “
Colômbia
, Rio
Magdalena
.” The
Magdalena
River is more than 1,500 Km long, it originates in the southwest of
Colombia
and in its route crosses the country from the south to the north, through 18 Colombian departments; therefore, the
type
locality is inaccurate. Until now, that was the only information about the locality of the species. Herein, the species is registered from the department of
Tolima
, located in the west-central part of the country.
