BRAZIL , Rondônia State , Porto Velho District , Abunã , 9°41'29.71"S 65°21'52.68"W Geographical distribution ( Fig. 14 ). Only known From the type locality. Etymology. The species is named in reFerence to the type locality. Diagnosis. Resembles M. santaremis , in having the prolateral tubercles oF coxae I–III FalciForm and elongated, surpassing the apex oF coxa ( Figs 2 C, E); trochanter, Femur, patella and tibia IV unarmed ( Figs 6 C, E). DiFFers From this species in having eight ventral tubercles on pedipalpal Femur ( Fig. 4 F) ( M. santaremis has six tubercles), Free tergite III with central tubercles enlarged and contiguous ( Fig. 2 E) ( M. santaremis has similar sized and separated tubercles, see Fig. 2 C) and coxa II with retrolateral FalciForm and elongated tubercle ( Fig. 2 E) (absent in M. santaremis , see Fig. 2 C). Dorsum ( Fig. 2 E): Median region oF anterior margin oF dorsal scutum smooth, with lateral small tubercles, two rhomboid tubercles Frontally directed, on external side oF paracheliceral projections. Lateral margin oF dorsal scutum with rounded tubercles. Ocularium with shallow median depression, with 15 small tubercles. All areas covered with small tubercles. Posterior margin oF dorsal scutum with one row oF 24 tubercles. Free tergite I with row oF 21 tubercles, II with row oF 14 tubercles, III with seven tubercles, the median one much larger than tubercles on dorsal scutum. Anal operculum with 24 tubercles irregularly distributed. All tubercles oF posterior margin, Free tergites and anal operculum with rounded apex. Chelicera ( Fig. 2 E): Bulla with Five rounded tubercles on basal margin, with retrolateral small tubercles and two retroapical tubercles united at the base. Segment II and segment III with Five teeth each. Pedipalps ( Figs 4 C, F): Trochanter with two apical ventral tubercles. Femur with Five dorsal prolateral tubercles; dorsal row oF Four tubercles; ventral row oF eight tubercles; two apical retrolateral tubercles. Patella dorsally tuberculated, retrolateral projection with rectangular shape on apical region, one apical retrolateral tubercle. Tibia with setiFerous tubercles, two retrolateral apical tubercles, one prolateral ventral tubercle, prolateral apical rounded projection, one prolateral ventral apical macroseta. Tarsus with base wider than apex, one row oF spines on retroventral border with two retrolateral spines and six prolateral macrosetae. FIGURE 4. Legs ( Figs 2 E; 6E, J; 8E, J): Coxa I with one basal retrolateral tubercle smaller than prolateral one. Coxa II with prolateral tubercle with base the same size as apex and one retrolateral tubercle highest and with larger base than apical portion, both FalciForm with rounded apex. Coxa III with one prolateral pointed tubercle. Tubercles oF coxae I–III long, reaching the coxa apex, except For the retrolateral tubercle oF coxa I. Coxa IV visible apically in dorsal view, tuberculated and with one prolateral apical apophysis. Trochanter IV with two retrolateral tubercles and two small tubercles on lateral border, nine ventral tubercles. Femur IV slightly curved and covered with small tubercles, smaller tubercles most concentrated on distal dorsal and ventral halF. Patella tuberculated. Tibia IV covered with small tubercles, more densely on apical region. Tarsal Formula: 5 / 7 / 5 / 6. Penis (MZSP 67318) ( Figs 13 D–F): Truncus straight with slight apical enlargement. Deep ventral plate, distal margin with narrow U-cleFt, Four pairs oF minute ventral macrosetae (group E). Lateral membranous projection extended From glans base to subapical region oF ventral plate. Two apical pairs oF macrosetae (group C), one median dorsal pair oF macrosetae (group D), one pair on basal region displaced dorsally, near to membranous extension (group A) and one pair on median region displaced laterally (group B). Glans wide with narrowing at stylus base. Stylus short with small projections on apex. Female (MZSP 59410 Paratype) Measurements: dorsal scutum, total length, 3.9; dorsal scutum, total width, 3.4; prosoma length, 1.1; prosoma width, 2.0; Femur I length, 1.9; Femur II length, 4.1; Femur III length, 3.0; Femur IV length, 3.7; pedipalpal Femur length, 0.7 mm . Dorsum: Posterior margin oF dorsal scutum with 21 tubercles. Free tergite I with 18 tubercles, II with 16 tubercles, III with 11 similar-sized tubercles. Anal operculum with 18 tubercles. All tubercles with rounded apex. Pedipalps: Femur with dorsal median row with Four tubercles, Followed by six dorsal tubercles and nine prolateral tubercles. Leg IV: Trochanter without dorsal tubercle, with small tubercles. Femur, patella and tibia with small tubercles. Tarsal Formula: 5 / 6 / 5 / 6. Variation. Chelicera with three-Four rhomboid tubercles on basal margin. Coxa IV with more dorsoapical tubercles. Dorsal tubercle oF trochanter IV with pointed apex. Measurements ( n=3 ): dorsal scutum, total length, 3.9–4.0; dorsal scutum total width 3.4–3.6; prosoma length 1.1–1.2; prosoma width 1.9–2.1; Femur I 2.1–2.3; femur II 4.2–4.3; femur III 3.2–3.3; femur IV 4.0–4.3; pedipalpal femur 0.8–0.9 mm . Measurements ( n=3 ): dorsal scutum total length 3.7–3.9; dorsal scutum total width 3.1–3.4; prosoma length 1.0–1.2; prosoma width 1.9– 2.2; Femur I 1.8–2.2; Femur II 3.7–4.1; Femur III 2.9–3.0; Femur IV 3.7; pedipalpal Femur 1.6–2.0 mm.
