Eye bare; frons of male without proclinate orbital setae, at most 4/5 times as wide as an eye viewed dorsally; postpedicel sharply pointed apically; arista bare, thickened at most on basal 2/5; prosternum bare; abdominal tergite 5 without median discal setae; abdominal sternites exposed, middorsal depression on abdominal syntergite 1 +2 extending back to hind margin.
