Comments. This species is known from the Canary Islands across the entire Mediterranean to the northern Caucasus (
Wiehle, 1964
), Abkhazia (
Kovblyuk, Marusik, Ponomarev, Gnelitsa, & Nadolny, 2011
) and Georgia (
Otto, 2014
). This is the southeasternmost record in the range.
