Host plant. Cassia fistula, C. marginata (Fabaceae) . Comments. Kandasamy and Thenmozhi (1985) and Kandasamy (1986) reported Euphalerus marginalis Capener, 1973 from Tamil Nadu. The description by Kandasamy (1986) leaves no doubt that this is a misidentification of Colophorina vittata ( Crawford, 1912 ) , a species which was previously reported from India ( Mathur 1975 ). This is supported by the host plant listed by Kandasamy (1986) as Cassia marginata (Fabaceae) . Euphalerus marginalis is an Afrotropical species which develops on Burkea africana (Fabaceae) .
