Diagnosis.
Males of
Uaiuara amazonica
(Simon)
comb. nov.
resemble those of
U. jirau
sp. nov.
in the short retrolateral groove on the palp, reaching less than half the cymbium length (
Figs 30
,
42
) and those of
U. dianae
sp. nov.
in the lack of strong hairs along the groove (
Figs 30
,
38
). They are distinguished from both species by the slightly sclerotized conductor (
Fig. 29
) and long, laminar dRTA (
Fig. 30
) in the male palps. The females resemble those of
U. ope
sp. nov.
in the epigyne with lateral lobes projecting anteriorly into the median septum (
Figs 31
,
47
) and
U. dianae
sp. nov.
by the projections of the lateral lobes large and reaching in length the posterior margin of the median septum (
Figs. 31
,
39
). They are distinguished from both species by the median septum rebordered and as long as wide (wider in both
U. dianae
sp. nov.
and
U. ope
sp. nov.
) (
Fig. 31
).
