Diagnosis.
Five to six black dorsocentral; no anatergal setae; epandrium apex with a ‘v’-shaped projection in lateral view (

); hypandrium with ‘u’-shaped indentation on median-apical margin; gonostylus apex hook-shaped (
Figs. 71, 72
); gonocoxite apex triangular (

).
Description. Male.
Holotype
.
Head. Scape and pedicel black; postpedicel black except for yellow base; 2 black ocellar macrosetae; vertex black, sparsely brown tomentose; frons black; face black, apical half grey tomentose and basal half brown tomentose; mystax with black and yellow setae; palpus with long black and short yellow setae; proboscis black with 3 brown ventral macrosetae and 2 setae, remaining yellow; labial setae yellowish; occiput grey tomentose; black and yellow occipital setae; 4 black postocular macrosetae.
Thorax. Antepronotum and postpronotum black, brown tomentose dorsally and grey laterally; mesonotum black; lateral margin of mesonotum, postpronotal, sutural, prescutellar spot and scutellum brown tomentose; mesopleuron grey tomentose, except for the anterior half of black anepisternum. Chaetotaxy: 2 black notopleural macrosetae; 1–2 black supra-alar setae; 1 black postalar macroseta; 5–6 black dorsocentral setae; no anatergal setae; 6 black apical scutellar macrosetae; black discal scutellar setae; katatergal macrosetae blackish; setae on meron+metanepisternals blackish.
Wing (

). Brown, no costal dilation; crossvein r-m beyond middle of discal cell; microtrichia on posterior wing margin arranged in a single plane.
Legs. Black (

Chaetotaxy: Basal half of fore femur with yellow setae and apical half with black setae; mid femur with 3 black anterior setae, 4 black anteroventral setae and 1 black, preapical macroseta dorsally; hind femur with 4 long black setae anteriorly, yellow setae posteriorly, 6 black anteroventrally and 1 black, preapical macroseta dorsoposteriorly; fore tibia with 4 black setae posteriorly; mid tibia with 2 long, black macrosetae anteroventrally; hind tibia with 3 long black setae anteriorly; tarsomeres with black setae.
Abdomen. Tergites 1–5 black, grey tomentose laterally; tergite 1 apical margin grey tomentose, apical margin of tergites 2–4 brown; tergite 5 brown, tergite 6 brown with silver apex and tergite 7 with shiny silvery tomentum (

); sternites 1–4 black, grey tomentose and sternites 5–7 brown, grey tomentose.

Etymology.
From Latin
uncinata
= hook, referring to the hook-shaped gonostylus apex.
