A. stolatus
Diagnosis.
Solid-toothed non-venomous snakes with keeled scales on the body in 19 dorsal rows mid-body, anal usually divided, and all subcaudals divided. Everted hemipenis is Y shape with simple sulcus.
Notes.
This is a restricted definition of this genus. Gender is neuter. This group may contain additional species here referred to
Hebius
, and likely presents a continuing problem with respect to
Xenochrophis
. Further taxonomic revision will likely be necessary in the future.
