( Figs. 45a–45e ) Description. Length: 5.7–6.4 mm . General color golden. Anterior vertex angulately produced, median length aproximately equal to distance between eyes at posterior margin, concave in the middle. Anterior margin brilliant cream, followed by wide black band that continues to posterior margin medially; posterior lateral area adjoining internal eye margin cream colored ( Fig. 9 ). Pronotum anteriorly black, with white spot on each side and a longitudinal yellowish line in the middle; rest of pronotum mottled yellow and dark. Scutellum white; basal angles dark, continuing to center and forming an M-shape, with narrow yellow line in the middle. Anterior wing transparent orange, with black marks, and several golden patches and white spots. Male genitalia: Pygofer more than twice as long as greatest width, very projected posteriorly, apex widey rounded; macrosetae long, dispersed, few, distributed along apical half ( Fig. 45a ). Valve triangular, margins rounded in anterior half. Plate short, base wide, tapered to apex, pointed, setae short at base ( Fig. 45b ). Style with apophysis long, curved, apex truncate ( Fig. 45c ). Aedeagus in ventral view wide and rounded at base; shaft straight, shorter than ventral processes, apex truncate; dorsal projection expanded laterally, ends rounded ( Fig. 45d ). Ventral processes separate from base, wide, apices pointed, curved and slightly convergent. In lateral view, shaft slender, apex curved caudad, shorter than ventral processes; dorsal projection long, slender, tapered, slightly curved caudad, tip broadly pointed. Gonopore subapical. Ventral processes close to shaft, divergent distally, wide, apices pointed ( Fig. 45e ). Diagnosis. O. linetteae can be distinguished by the golden and black body, and the very wide creamcolored band on the anterior vertex. O. villamillsiensis has the anterior wing dark brown and yellow, as in other species in this group ( Fig. 1b ). O . linetteae has the ventral processes, in ventral view, separate from base, wide, with the apices curved and slightly convergent, whereas in O. villamillsiensis the apices are divergent. Distribution. Known only from Costa Rica ; 2000–2600 m . Etymology. This species is named in honor of Linette Vega for support given to the first author while pursuing his Masters degree and for her continuous moral support.
