Distribution: eastern Pacific: Galápagos Islands , Cocos Island, Ecuador ; probably also occurs over Las Gemeles Seamounts, southwest of Cocos Island ( Anderson & Heemstra, 2012 :83–84; Béarez & Jiménez Prado, 2003 :109).
