Description. Herbs or occasionally subshrubs , usually with multicellular hairs sometimes becoming glabrescent, or rarely with simple and glandular hairs. Leaves basal and/or cauline. Flowers usually in racemes or solitary in leaf axils; pedicels usually not articulate. Corolla bilabiate. Number of taxa and distribution. This section includes 28 species found in every state of Australia across a range of biomes with some species extending into arid central inland regions. Included species.
